Georgia Summer

We decided to take a break from the New Zealand winter and head to America to enjoy their summer and some family time last month. We swam and played in the sun in California, Georgia and Tennessee. Here's some photos from an amazing hike in the Grundy National Forest in Tennessee. Levi, age 5, hopped in the car and an hour later when we arrived, we realised he had left his shoes at home. Oh well, he didn't seem to mind the 2 mile hike to the waterfall barefoot! Swimming at Sycamore Falls was amazing and beautiful. Josh, age 7, got to try out his new found swimming skills in the small swimming hole. Thanks to my brother Jon, we ended up with awesome photos. The walk back was punctuated by stops at the various smaller waterfalls along the trail. Such a great family trip for everyone from age 5 to 72!
